Get to Know Us
At Chinese Autism Resources and Empowerment Service (CARES), we strive to provide inclusive, culturally sensitive support for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Through tailored services like support groups, workshops, and resources in Chinese, we aim to create nurturing spaces that foster understanding, emotional support, and knowledge-sharing, empowering individuals to navigate the world of autism with compassion and empathy.

To provide culturally sensitive support services for individuals with autism and their families, including support groups, workshops and seminars, and consultations.

To curate, integrate, and share Chinese-language information resources to support individuals with autism and their families.

建立情感支持和信息分享的网络和平台，赋予客户知识，以应对与自闭症相关的挑战。
To establish a network and platform for emotional support and information sharing, empowering clients with knowledge to navigate the challenges associated with autism.
在华语社区和更广泛的社会中进行自闭症科普和理解的推广工作，以促进社区、社会对自闭症的接纳和融合。
To promote autism awareness and understanding within the Chinese-speaking community and the broader society, fostering acceptance and inclusion of individuals with autism.

我们是一支致力于培育包容性、用同理心和关怀赋予自闭症社群力量的团队。
我们团队的每一个个人都已自己的身份，例如作为临床心理学家、学校心理学家、认证行为分析师（BCBA）、特殊教育教师、社会工作者、医疗行业资深人士, 科学研究从业人员和自闭症孩子的家长，在北美我们曾在不同的环境中为自闭症患者及其家庭提供过专业服务，帮助他们面对各种挑战。
在这段旅程中，我们深切感受到，许多华人自闭症家庭在获取资源、知识、以及为自己争取权益、提高生活质量方面的迫切需求。正是基于这一点，我们站在这里，愿意通过分享有价值的信息、建立联系、提高社会意识等方式，全力支持并服务这个群体。我们相信，通过我们的共同努力，我们可以为所有人创造一个充满希望与机会的未来。
Get to Know Us
We are a dedicated team committed to fostering inclusivity and empowering the autism community with empathy and care. Each member of our team brings unique expertise and experiences, including clinical psychologists, school psychologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), special education teachers, social workers, seasoned professionals in the healthcare industry, scientific researchers, and parents of children with autism.
Having provided professional services to individuals with autism and their families across various settings in North America, we have witnessed firsthand the challenges many Chinese-speaking autism families face in accessing resources, knowledge, and advocacy to improve their quality of life.
Motivated by this need, we are here to support and serve this community by sharing information, fostering connections, and raising awareness. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference.

CARES is led by a dedicated and diverse team with deep expertise in autism support, education, healthcare, and community advocacy. Together, we strive to identify the most pressing needs of the autism community and provide the resources and solutions necessary to foster inclusivity and empowerment.
